Council Meeting Dates 2008
Council meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays, with the exception of December and January. In December only one meeting is held on the second Tuesday. Council is in recess in January. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers, 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands at 7.00 p.m. Entry is from Smyth Road.
The Council Committee (involving all Councillors) also meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, immediately following the closure of the Council meeting. Items considered at Committee meetings then go to the following Council meeting (two weeks later). Reports from all divisions - Development Services, Community Services and Corporate Services - are discussed at both the Council Committees and the associated full Council meetings each month.
