The City of Nedlands has mde a commiment to the Department of Planning and Infrastructure TravelSmart initiative by employing a TravelSmart Officer to encourage the use of sustainable transport modes by community members and by adopting a TravelSmart Action Plan. The City of Nedlands TravelSmart Officer can provide advice and assist in planning your TravelSmart trips.

TravelSmart is all about looking to change just TWO TRIPS PER WEEKS from the car to using:

• Walking
• Cycling
• Public transport
• Car pooling
• Teleworking

Choosing TravelSmart methods leads to benefits for residents of the city of Nedlands, the community, the environment and the local economy.
