The City of Nedlands has grants available to Clubs and organisations to help fund the development of sporting and recreational facilities within the City. Facility development means either the construction of new facilities or the upgrade of existing facilities. It does not include maintenance or operational expenses.
The City offers grants through the Community Sporting & Recreation Facility Fund (CSRFF). The CSRFF is managed by the State Government via the Department of Sport & Recreation (DSR).
Why provide this funding?

- Support the sustainability of sporting clubs and community organisations
- Ensure Council owned facilities are maintained and developed to a high standard
- Ensure recreation infrastructure meets current and future needs of the local community
- Fund facility development in a planned, consistent and equitable manner
How much can we get?
There are two categories to apply for funding:
- Annual Grant - $1,000 - $50,000
- Forward Planning Grant - $50,001 up to 3 x $500,000 ($1.5m)
