Citizenship ceremonies are hosted by the Mayor four times a year at various locations within the City.
The pledge of commitment taken during the ceremony is the final step in becoming an Australian citizen.
City of Nedlands residents are eligible to attend once they have completed the application process and received a letter of approval from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
A letter of invitation from the City is sent out to all eligible candidates approximately 6 weeks prior to the next ceremony date. Candidates must RSVP by the specified date to confirm a place at the ceremony.
