2010 Local Business Satisfaction Survey

In April 2010 the City surveyed local businesses on both their satisfaction with City services and views on setting up a Local Business Association.The results were as follows:

• Overall satisfaction with City services was high at 73%.
• Satisfaction with waste services was high at 78%.
• Satisfaction with crime prevention services was high at 76%.
• Satisfaction with information provided by the City was high at 70%.
• Satisfaction with customer service was moderate at 67%.
• 18 businesses agreed to be on a working group to establish a Local Business Association. 

2010 Community Perception Survey

The survey was administered externally by Catalyse to 400+ people on how they thought the City and Council was performing. Of those surveyed, the overall satisfaction rating has risen from 59% in 2007 to 72% in 2010.

2007 Community Perception Survey

The survey was administered externally by Catalyse and sought to evaluate resident satisfaction with a range of services and facilities provided. Of those surveyed, the overall satisfaction rating was 59%, with 29% of those described as 'delighted'.
