Community Awards
Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards
Held annually, the Premier's Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards aim to foster, recognise and celebrate significant contributions to community life and active citizenship in all local government areas of Western Australia. The awards are provided by the Australia Day Council of WA and presented by the City of Nedlands at a joint Citizenship and Awards Ceremony in January each year.
The award categories are:
- a person 25 years and over;
- a person under 25 years; and
- a Community group or event.
