Library Service

Nedlands Library Service comprises the Nedlands and Mt Claremont Libraries. With more than 60 000 resources to choose from, the Library Service caters to all age groups and interests.

Become a library member (free of charge for WA residents) by signing up at either of the Libraries. You will need to provide ID and official proof of address (e.g. driver's license and bank statement). Children under 16 require a parent or guardian's signature when joining. Membership entitles you to borrow from all western suburbs libraries, including Claremont, Cottesloe and Subiaco libraries.  However, please note that different libraries apply different loan conditions.

Library Catalogue and Renewals

The Libraries offer a wealth of resources including free internet and wireless facilities, DVDs, CDs, eAudiobooks and traditional print resources such as books and magazines. Use the Library Catalogue to search for and renew library resources. Items available from the State Library Catalogue can be ordered if required.

Resources may be renewed by phone, email or in person at one of the Nedlands Libraries or online.
