Cycling
Cycling in the City of Nedlands and surrounds is an activity that almost everyone can enjoy. It is an effective way to improve your health and fitness while enjoying the outdoors. Cycling can also be a cheap and efficient method for your daily commute.
If you are new to cycling, the Department for Planning and Infrastructure’s Cycling website is full of useful information, maps and brochures. The UWA – Nedlands TravelSmart Map is also a great tool to plan cycling trips. This map is available in hard copy from the City's Administration Centre as well as the Nedlands and Mt Claremont Libraries.

Bike Week
In March every year, Western Australia celebrates Bike Week. In March 2009, UWA and the City of Nedlands joined forces to provide breakfast for around 300 cyclists. Look out for your local Bike Week event next March.
