The City of Nedlands will be undertaking the following capital projects during 2011/2012:

Playground improvements

• Jones Park (Swanbourne: Upgrade of playground including the installation of shade sails – Status, consultation underway
• Masons Gardens (Dalkeith): Addition of new play equipment – Climbing Spider – Status, consultation underway

Reticulation

• Allen Park (Swanbourne): Installation of Central Control Capable cabinet
• Lawler Park (Floreat): Installation of Central Control Capable cabinet
• Melvista Oval (Nedlands): Installation of Central Control Capable cabinet
• Asquith Park (Mt Claremont): Upgrade of irrigation system with hydrozoning
• Tresillian Centre (Nedlands): Upgrade of irrigation system with hydrozoning
• Campsie Park (Nedlands): Upgrade of irrigation system with hydrozoning including new bore and submersible pump
• Mossvale Gardens (Floreat): Upgrade of irrigation system with hydrozoning including new bore and submersible pump
• Beatrice Road Reserve (Dalkeith): Upgrade of existing bore and submersible pump
• Zamia Park (Mt Claremont): New bore and submersible pump

Sports facilities

• Mt Claremont Oval: New soccer goals and fencing – Status, completed
• Charles Court Reserve: Skate Park bank stabilisation

Oval and reserve improvements

• New Court Gardens (Mt Claremont): Repair of limestone wall, renewal of garden beds and planting of roses – Status, completed
• Prince Albert Court (Mt Claremont): Installation of water meter and landscaping – Status, completed
• Directors Gardens (Mt Claremont): Rehabilitation of pathway (120 metres)
• Allen Park (Swanbourne): Replace drinking fountain
• Beaton Park (Dalkeith): Replace wooden sign with metal standard sign
• Daran Park (Mt Claremont): Replace wooden sign with metal standard sign
• Stephenson Avenue (Verge): Install bollards and plant Greenway Corridor in the vicinity of Challenge Stadium
• Hamilton Park (Mt Claremont): Terracing of southern area and installation of combination bench seat
• Mt Claremont Oval: Completion of circuit path

Road resurfacing works

• Circi Circle (north between Curlew Street and Carroll Street)
• Underwood Avenue (south carriageway between Brockway Road and Selby Street)
• Bruce Street (Princess Road to Melvista Avenue)
• Railway Road (Aberdare Road to 180 metres south)
• North Street (West Coast highway to Walba Way)
• Smyth Road (Stirling Highway to 90 metres north)
• Loch Street (3 sections commencing at Stirling Highway)
• Archdeacon Street (Stirling Highway to Melvista Road)
• Alfred Road (Grayland Road to Strickland Street)
• Gordon Street (Hampden Road to Clifton Street)
• Odern Crescent (traffic modifications)

• Beatrice Road (stage 2)
• Hooley Street (Greensview Road to end of cul de sac)
