What our members said about the Affinity Club in 2016

The 2016 Customer Satisfaction Survey was undertaken to gain an understanding on the level of satisfaction with the services and programs provided, and to receive suggestions for new activities for 2017.

There were 11 questions asked about the club, how it promotes itself, how it enhances wellbeing and engages seniors within the community. Questions also solicited what members liked about the club and where improvements could be made. There were suggestions for new activities and whether you would recommend the club to your friends.

There was an overwhelming positive response to the survey and thank you to those who participated. A selection of the results is provided below.

From the responses received, it was great to see that our members liked the programs offered, the club membership, the meeting place (and the afternoon tea!) and City of Nedlands support team. Thank you. Our members liked the opportunity to participate and learn from the variety of activities and events being offered by the club. Guest speakers were also popular, along with learning about modern equipment, and having activities with a physical and mental challenge for everyone.

Feeling part of a group and having friendly companionship was also important, as many strong friendships have developed.

Members felt the Affinity Club was a valuable asset to the wellbeing of seniors, giving a true sense of community and belonging.

We want you!

Come and join in the fun. We also organise social events during the year such as Christmas in July, Singing the musicals, excursions, etc. If you would like to learn more about the Nedlands Affinity Club, come and meet us. You are welcome to try any of our activities on any day. We look forward to seeing you in our club.
