The City of Nedlands resolved at its Ordinary Meeting of Council on 26 September 2017 to advertise the proposed Waste Amendment Local Law 2017 for public comment.

The purpose of the local law is to provide for the regulation, control and management of activities and issues relating to waste collection, recycling, reuse and disposal within the district of the City of Nedlands.

The effect of the local law is to control activities and manage influences on waste collection, recycling, reuse and disposal within the district of the City of Nedlands.

A copy of the proposed local law may be obtained from the City’s Administration Centre, libraries or online at yourvoice.nedlands.wa.gov.au.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Nedlands, PO Box 9, Nedlands 6909 by Monday 11 December 2017.
