Being bloody-minded about Alzheimer's disease

Being bloody-minded about Alzheimer's disease

Professor John Mamo's research team at the Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute have found that ageing is linked to leaking capillaries in the blood-brain barrier. This leaking causes inflammation which may increase the risk of Alzheimer's disease and other brain diseases. John will tell the story of this important discovery and suggest a drug treatment that could stop this pathway of brain destruction.  Please see flyer for more details.
