Innovative use of mobile technologies to support young people with chronic arthritis or persistent musculoskeletal pain

This seminar from leading experts in the area of health will showcase innovative programs developed for young people (age groups 13-16yrs and 16-25yrs). Find out about the novel ways that young people can use their mobile devices (smart phone, iPads) to engage in self-management and be better supported in their care.

Speakers: Prof Jennifer Stinson is a Nurse Clinician-Scientist from Canada (SickKids Hospital) with award winning research and expertise in the use of mHealth technologies to improve young people’s chronic arthritis and persistent pain care. 

Prof Helen Slater is a clinical researcher (Curtin University) with a passion for driving improvements in young people’s musculoskeletal pain care. She is recognised nationally and internationally for her work in the area of musculoskeletal pain.
