SheSails Come & Try Day

The Perth Flying Squadron Yacht Club will be holding a SheSails Come & Try Day for women and girls on Sunday, 22 November 2020. This is an excellent opportunity to give sailing a go and find out if it is the sport for you! What better way to spend a Sunday morning than out on the River, making friends and learning some new skills?! It is a free event with an optional BBQ lunch ($20 per person) so bring your family and friends along - all abilities are welcome. The regular PFSYC Sunday Racing will be commencing at 2pm so participants are invited to stay and board a yacht for the race.

Come and Try Morris Dancing

Marlee Morris extend an invitation to you to come and try Morris dancing, that whacky traditional English dancing with sticks, bells and wavers. We are welcoming new members, dancers and musicians, after a Covid break and can’t wait to start dancing out again. We’ll all be there at The Seaward Guide Hall, Monash Ave, Nedlands on August 16, 9am - 12pm ready to teach you what we know – and we’ll provide morning tea so you can have a chat and get to know us. While some previous dancing experience might be helpful, the only way to find out if you can do it is to give it a go!
