Tables and chairs:

  • 20 rectangle trestle tables
  • 200 chairs

Main Space

  • Very large rectangle hall with wooden floor in the top half of the building; and
  • Split-system heating and cooling.

Note: the stage, organ and piano are not available to the public.

Kitchen

  • Oven with stove top;
  • Fridge with additional freezer compartment;
  • Hot water urn;
  • Microwave; and
  • Servery hatch into the main hall.

Outside

  • Large covered veranda overlooking grass oval; and
  • Car park.

Toilets

  • Separate male and female facilities available within the main facility; 
  • A single accessible toilet available within the main facility; and
  • Two accessible (disabled) public toilets located in the lower half of the facility open between 5am and 7pm daily. 

Accessibility

  • The venue meets current accessibility standards.
  • 1 swipe to open and 3 swipes to shut make sure you hear the click when shutting.

Cleaning

All facilities have dustpan and brushes and brooms.  The hirers are required to bring their own cleaning equipment.  The City does not provide vacuums, mops or buckets (some of the regular users leave their own in facilities, the City accepts no responsibility for these).

All public toilets are cleaned every single day by the City’s contracted cleaners.  Facilities hired out on a casual basis are cleaned three times a week by the City’s contracted cleaners, subject to any special conditions or agreements.

 Additional

  • Storeroom also contains large whiteboard and lecturn.

Changerooms

Clubroom and large change-rooms in the lower part of the building available to sporting clubs by management license agreement, complete with showers and additional separate toilets.

Ovals

Grass ovals either side also available for hire.

Standing capacity is provided above.  Seating is less, but dependent on the table/chair configuration so would have to be determined case by case depending on how the hirers choose to lay the room out.
