Personal care
Support with daily self-care such as showering, dressing and medication checks.
Social support
Providing social contact within the home or in the community, social group events, outings with the Waraah Social Club and transport to local shopping areas.
Transport
Enabling clients access to community activities and services such as shopping, bill payment or medical appointments.
Gardening support
Light gardening to maintain safe access around your home
Respite care
Providing care, supervision and assistance to clients and offering temporary relief for carers.
Waratah Social Club
Providing regular social outings and activities within a centre-based setting.
Nedlands Community Care embraces the wellness approach to care. This means our focus is on identifying what an individual ‘can do’ for themselves rather than focusing on what they ‘cannot do’. Our friendly staff are trained in the wellness approach and promote and encourage client independence to enable our clients to continue living at home safely for as long as possible.
