Coming to the Royal Show by car? Here’s where you can and cannot park.

Published on Friday, 10 September 2021 at 2:44:00 PM

The Perth Royal Show is taking place at the Claremont Showgrounds from 25 September to 2 October 2021 and while it would be preferable for all patrons to travel by public transport, the City is implementing a limited number of parking opportunities for resident and verge parking.

Temporary parking restrictions will occur in a number of streets around the Showground precinct (see map here) to ensure public safety during this time.  We encourage all residents and visitors to heed the parking signs to avoid being issued with an infringement notice.

Resident parking

The City will not be issuing parking permits for residents this year.  If temporary restrictions apply to the area in which you live and you cannot park within the bounds of your own property, you will need to seek alternative parking arrangements during this time.

Verge parking

If vehicles are parked on your verge without your consent, please contact the City’s Ranger Services.  An officer will attend and may issue an infringement to the vehicle owner.  For enquiries, please contact the City’s Ranger Services on 9273 3500.

Ranger Services will be in attendance throughout the Showground precinct while  the Royal Show is underway.  Please abide by the City’s parking signs to avoid creating parking problems and being issued with an infringement.
