City of Nedlands has been holding its free Summer Concerts in the Parks for the past 23 years, and despite COVID challenges, the City has found a way to meet all the requirements to safely continue with this tradition.

The final two concerts, on Sundays 20 and 27 February, feature different but highly entertaining music options, for audiences of all ages.

This Sunday, 20 February, will be the time to sit back and enjoy the soulful tones of Howie Morgan and his band at Allen Park, Swanbourne.  With a sea breeze to keep you cool, food trucks to keep you fed and entertainment to occupy the kids, what better way to end the week.

But be sure to bring your dancing shoes to Dot Bennet Park, Nedlands on Sunday 27 February for a lively afternoon treat from Perth party band City Limits.

This dynamic, full-sounding five-piece cover band will be delivering a mix of rock, funk and contemporary pop including classic rock hits from Creedence Clearwater Revival to Led Zeppelin.

The City’s Summer Concerts in the Parks commence at 5.30pm with food trucks, and entertainment for children, and finish at 7.00pm.

Both events are free to attend but registrations are essential. Please go to eventbrite.com.au to book your tickets. All attendees 16+ will need to provide proof of vaccination.
