Howie Morgan Project brings music to your ears at Allen Park

What could be better than a picnic in the park, with the sun setting over Allen Park and the fabulous music of Howie Morgan Project wafting on the breeze?

The latest in the City of Nedlands’ free Summer Concerts in the Parks series is heading for Allen Park, Swanbourne on Sunday, 20 February from 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

In a style that can be described as a sweet synergy between blues, soul and pop, Howie Morgan and his band have impressed music lovers around the country including opening for acts such as Simply Red, The Whitlams and Kate Ceberano.

The City of Nedlands’ free outdoor concerts have been much-loved events for the past 23 years, providing healthy outdoor entertainment, while supporting local musicians and entertainers.

Councillor Smyth, from the City’s Coastal Ward will open the concert at 5.30pm and children’s entertainment and food trucks will be available throughout the event.

Following the Allen Park event, the final concert in the 2022 line-up will be held at Dot Bennett Park, Nedlands on 27 February 2022, 5.30pm to 7.00pm - featuring the band ‘City Limits’.

These events are free to attend however registrations are essential. Please go to eventbrite.com.au to book your tickets. All attendees 16+ will need to provide proof of vaccination.
