The City of Nedlands advises that during the months of August through to November 2022 there will be works being completed along Waratah Avenue from Alexander Road to Adelma Road.
Due to the unpredictable nature of weather conditions, exact dates for the completion of this project cannot be confirmed.
The project scope includes the following:
- Kerb removal and minor earthworks
- Drainage upgrades along the length of the road
- Road profiling, and new asphalt wearing course
- Realignment of the parking bays on the south side of Waratah Avenue
- New kerb and crossover installation
- Removal and relaying of existing brick paving
- Median strip and tree planting cells along the length of Waratah Avenue
The City appreciates there will be some disruption to the community during this time. The City website page will be updated with further information as the project moves forward.
