Volunteering

The City of Nedlands is passionate about the benefits of volunteering for our community. We provide a quality Volunteer Service that is governed by best practice standards and positively impacts everyone involved. 

The City of Nedlands volunteers assist in a variety of council provided services which aim to enhance the quality of life and positive experiences for residents and visitors. These services help to promote social inclusion, wellbeing and a resilient community capable of meeting its own needs. 

Through volunteering you can benefit in so may ways such as making new friends, developing new skills, building self-confidence and increasing your personal satisfaction.  

When you volunteer with the City of Nedlands you become a valuable member of our amazing team of volunteers. We will provide you with training and ongoing support, as you give of your time and energy to help others. 

The City has a variety of volunteers roles in the following areas: Nedlands Community Care, Local Studies archives, Bushcare, Nedlands Library, Tresillian Arts Centre, Youth Advisory Council and Access Working Group.
