Director Corporate Services
We are seeking an accomplished and resilient leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Director Corporate Services. Reporting to the CEO, this critical role provides strategic oversight and leadership across finance, property & leasing, procurement and contract management.
About the Role As Director Corporate Services, you will:
- Lead rigorous financial management, budgeting and long-term planning in line with legislative and statutory obligations.
- Oversee procurement, contract management, finance and property & leasing and compliance functions, ensuring robust processes and outcomes.
- Provide expert advice to Council, the Audit & Risk Committee, and the Executive Team.
- Drive strategic partnerships with the community, Council, State and Federal agencies. Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams across finance, property & leasing, procurement and contract management.
About You You are a highly resilient and collaborative leader with:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement, contract management, and legal interpretation.
- Strong financial acumen experience at senior executive level.
- Proven ability to lead change, manage complexity, and influence at Board/Council level.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience may come from within Local Government or from other complex sectors where governance, finance, and contract management are critical.
