2025 Native Plant Subsidy Scheme

The Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns from Thursday May 1 to Saturday May 31.

Residents will be able to purchase subsidised native seedlings grown by local nursery Apace.

This is a fantastic opportunity to choose water wise native plants that are adapted to thrive in Perth’s environment. Local plant species don’t just look beautiful- they can provide food and shelter for native animals and pollinators and help shade and cool your house and garden.

Residents of the City of Nedlands can purchase up to 40 native plants (per household) for $3.00 each from Apace Nursery, located at 1 Johannah Street, North Fremantle.

Apace nursery's retail hours during May 2025: Weds-Sat: 8:30am-2pm
