The City of Nedlands is a well-connected community, close to the central business district, the coast and with extensive river foreshore access.
Thousands of people move around for work, play and general enjoyment using different types of transport every day. To better understand how this occurs, the City of Nedlands are preparing an Integrated Transport Strategy.
Several actions have been developed for the City based on a workshop with technical stakeholders, previous community engagement (January – March 2023), and a gap analysis. These actions will aim to achieve the objectives of the Integrated Transport Strategy.
The City of Nedlands is now seeking community and stakeholder feedback on the proposed actions. The actions provide recommendations for active transport (movement using personal modes of transport such walking, cycling, e-bikes, e-scooters), public transport and private vehicle (car) transport.
Feedback can be provided via an online survey, accessible on the City’s Your Voice page between 26 June and 23 July 2023.
