Mia Mather is a personal trainer at UWA gym. In this group class of older people, I will illustrate to them that strength training is not scary but in fact beneficial and quite achievable. This will look like using chairs to execute single leg squats, triceps dips and inclined push ups. I hope the class can gain confidence and strength to further apply simple, strength conditioning movements to their everyday lives.
