The Loneliness Project with Ros Thomas
Wednesday 7th May 2025
Acclaimed journalist and award-winning author Ros Thomas will be presenting her groundbreaking research on loneliness at Nedlands Library on Wednesday, 7 May 2025.
Ros Thomas, known for her extensive career in television investigative reporting and long-form non-fiction, dedicated a year to studying loneliness across the world. Her research, funded by a Winston Churchill Fellowship, enabled her to combine her love of photographic portraiture and reportage to publish a series of interviews with lonely and isolated people.
This work culminated in the publication of her report, Solitary – How to Beat Loneliness, which has garnered significant attention from governments, healthcare providers, non-profits, and employers.
