Coming to the Royal Show by car? Here’s where you can park.

The Perth Royal Show is taking place at the Claremont Showgrounds from 24 September to 1 October 2022 and while it would be preferable for all patrons to travel by public transport, the City of Nedlands and the Town of Claremont will be managing the parking around the Showgrounds.

Temporary parking restrictions will occur in a number of streets around the Showground precinct to ensure public safety during this time.  We encourage all residents and visitors to heed the parking signs to avoid being issued with an infringement notice.

Resident parking

The City will not be issuing parking permits for residents this year.  If temporary restrictions apply to the area in which you live and you cannot park within the bounds of your own property, you will need to seek alternative parking arrangements during this time.

Verge parking

If vehicles are parked on your verge without your consent, please contact the City’s Ranger Services on 9273 3500 and an officer will attend and may issue an infringement notice to the vehicle owner.

Ranger Services will be in attendance throughout the Showground precinct while the Royal Show is underway.  Please abide by the City’s parking signs to avoid creating parking problems and being issued with an infringement.

Paid parking managed by Lions Club:
Stubbs Terrace and Alfred Road
Stubbs Terrace and Mengler Avenue
Stubbs Terrace and Second Avenue
Eastern verge of Railway Road between Loch Street and the entry to Karrakatta Cemetery
