The City of Nedlands is seeking comment on draft Amended Local Planning Policy – Precincts. This amendment affects the properties on Alexander Road in Dalkeith that have an R80 density code applied. The amendment seeks to reinstate a 10 metre Deemed-to-Comply height limit for Single and Grouped Dwellings and a 10 metre Acceptable Outcome for Multiple Dwellings, within the sub-precinct. The Policy will be open for public comment until 5pm 6 June 2025.
City Officers will be available on 26 May 2025 from 4pm to 6pm in the Council Chambers at 71 Stirling Highway to answer any questions. Please note that there is no presentation at this session. It is an after-hours opportunity to speak with a City Officer about the proposal and you do not have to attend the entire time. Due to limited space, it is important that you please RSVP via the LPP 5.14 Precincts – Height Revision Your Voice page if you wish to attend.
Otherwise, you may contact the City’s Strategic Planning Department to discuss the proposal or arrange a separate appointment.
