Coming to the Royal Show by car? Here’s where you can park.
The Perth Royal Show is taking place at the Claremont Showgrounds from 21 September to 28 September 2024 and we encourage patrons to travel to the event using public transport.
Temporary parking restrictions will occur in a number of streets around the Showground precinct to ensure public safety during this time. The City will be instituting ‘No Stopping Road or Verge’ restrictions on the western side of Railway Road this year. This may affect commuters and cemetery visitors. We encourage you to make alternate arrangements over this period. Please see the official Royal Show website for parking information – https://perthroyalshow.com.au/show-info/
We advise all residents and visitors to observe the temporary parking restrictions to avoid being issued with an infringement notice.

Resident parking
The City will not be issuing parking permits for residents. If temporary parking restrictions apply to the area in which you live and you cannot park within the bounds of your own property, you will need to seek alternative parking arrangements during this time.
Verge parking
Parking on a verge is not permitted without consent from the owner/resident of the home.
Information for residents: If vehicles are parked on your verge without your consent, please contact the City’s Ranger Service. An officer will attend and may issue an infringement notice to the vehicle. For enquiries, please contact the City’s Ranger Service on 9273 3500.
Ranger Patrolling
The City takes a serious approach to the safety of drivers and pedestrians during this busy period ensuring that parking restrictions in place to safeguard Royal Show visitors where possible. The City’s Ranger Service will be in attendance throughout the Showgrounds precinct while the Royal Show is underway, and will be issuing infringement notices for non-compliant parking.
