I stand for sustainable financial and asset management and strong community engagement.
I am a semi-retired strategic planning consultant who has lived in Hollywood Ward since 2012. With a passion for community participation, I have been a member of community and government boards for over thirty years including rescuing several organisations in crisis. I want to bring my expertise and qualifications to Nedlands to help build a sustainable future for our City.
At this time of change to the culture and age in Nedlands demographic, if elected, I intent to:
Listen to the businesses and local community
Actively review and prioritise spending to ensure that resources do to where they are critically needed
Drive policies that protect urban canopies to cool our environment
Support and strengthen community groups and local resources including for sports, arts and culture, the environment, young people and seniors
