Julian Coleman is a researcher with a background in public policy, digital transformation, and governance. He currently works as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Public Affairs, where he focuses on productive investment, energy, and economic policy in Western Australia. Before joining the IPA, he spent nearly a decade in digital transformation and business development and has also served in governance roles at the University of Western Australia, including as a member of the UWA Senate and a Guild Councillor.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Western Australia and has also undertaken further study in communications and data analytics. He brings experience in research, stakeholder engagement, strategy, and financial management, with an interest in good governance and the use of technology to improve public administration and service delivery.
