Remembrance Day 2026
Wednesday 11th November 2026
At 11am on 11 November, we pause to reflect on the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front in 1918, marking the end of more than four years of war. Since then, the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month has held deep significance for communities across Australia.
Remembrance Day is a time to honour those who have died while serving in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. This year, the RSL invites community members to attend a commemorative service at their local Sub‑Branch to remember those who gave their lives in service to our nation. Wearing a red poppy on Remembrance Day is a simple way to show respect for those who served and sacrificed.
The City of Nedlands and the Nedlands sub-branch of the Returned Service League invite you to your local Remembrance Day Service for 2026.
Join us on Wednesday 11 November, 10.30am at the Perth War Cemetery, Smyth Road, to honour those who have died in the line of duty.
