Michael Cole has more than 30 years’ experience in senior positions at local and state government levels in Western Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree and has been a CPA since 1998. Michael’s previous local government experience includes Manager Finance at City of Wanneroo from 2001 to 2007; Director Corporate and Strategy at the City of Nedlands from 2007 to 2016, including 12 months as Acting CEO; and more recently Executive Director Corporate Services at the City of Albany from 2016 to 2019 and Chief Finance Officer at the Town of Victoria Park from 2019 to 2022. Michael brings to the City a wealth of experience in financial management and community development.
