In a collaborative effort, the City of Nedlands, in partnership with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation, and Attractions, is actively implementing a river foreshore restoration project at Foreshore Reserve 28307. Situated between Bishop Road and Point Resolution Reserves, this initiative has been made possible with a grant of $71,815 received from the Department's Riverbank Funding program.

The primary objectives of this project are to bolster biodiversity and enhance the habitat along the Swan River foreshore while concurrently safeguarding the river reserve against the potential impacts of high-energy waves and natural erosion processes.
