The City is pleased to announce that Guttmann Dog Park (Montario Quarter) will reopen to the community on Wednesday, 18 February following a period of renovation works, including re-turfing. The park is now ready to welcome residents and their dogs back to a refreshed and well‑maintained space.
Guttmann Dog Park features two designated exercise areas to support the needs of different dogs:
-
Active Dog Area – Suitable for high‑energy dogs that enjoy running, playing, and social interaction.
-
Passive Dog Area – Designed for quieter, shy, or more relaxed dogs who prefer a leisurely wander at their own pace

To ensure the park remains safe, clean, and enjoyable for all users, visitors are reminded of the following requirements:
-
Dog owners must supervise their pets at all times and maintain effective control, even within off‑leash areas.
-
Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised closely.
-
Please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided.
-
Help protect the turf by preventing dogs from digging.
The park will undergo regular scheduled maintenance, during which certain areas may be temporarily closed. Unscheduled maintenance may also occur when required to maintain the facility to a high standard.
The City thanks residents for their cooperation in helping keep the space safe, welcoming, and well cared for.
