The City of Nedlands has identified asbestos-containing material in an area of College Park and is taking precautionary measures to ensure community safety.
As a result, the northern overflow car park marked with warning ribbon is temporarily closed while specialist contractors undertake assessment and remediation works.
The safety of our community remains our highest priority. We ask all visitors to avoid the closed area and comply with all signage and barriers in place.
The City will reopen the affected area as soon as it has been assessed as safe for public use.
