Undergrounding of power in Mt Claremont is now officially complete, marking the end of our Nedlands West UGP Project!
In this project area, 668 properties have been converted from the overhead network to underground power.
Mt Claremont residents and business owners can now enjoy:
- Better power supply: Both the quality and reliability of power increases with underground power.
- Increased safety: No more fallen power lines from storms or vehicle collisions.
- Improved local amenity: We said goodbye to unsightly power poles and now our trees can flourish upwards!
- Supporting emerging technologies: Providing the reliable, high-capacity electrical grid needed for new innovations.
