Winter Community Planting and Bushland Restoration Events

Each year the City provides native seedlings to our dedicated community bushcare groups so they can assist the City to protect and enhance biodiversity through bushland restoration activities.

There are over 15,000 local provenance seedlings needing planting throughout June to July. If you are interested in helping out, please contact one of the groups listed below:

Melon Hill Bushland Group

The Melon Hill Bushland Group will be undertaking revegetation activities every Tuesday during June and they will also be holding planting events on Saturday the 10th and 24th June and 1st of July. Contact Lesley on 0431 728 230.

Friends of Hollywood Reserve

The Friends of Hollywood Reserve will be undertaking revegetation activities on Sunday the 11th June and 9th July meet at the main entrance near the junction of Karella Street and Boronia Avenue, Nedlands. Contact Trish on 9386 4476.

Friends of Shenton Bushland

The Friends of Shenton Bushland meet every Sunday from 8am – 10am to undertake various bush care activities. Contact Dani on 0420 334 601.
