I'm running for mayor to bring a fresh choice and focused leadership to Nedlands.
I have an honours degree in economics and bring over two decades of senior experience across government, community and private sectors. My experience includes working in Treasury, Premier & Cabinet, the Auditor General's Office and the Economic Regulation Authority. I've led organisations through renewal and delivered on complex policy, specialising in economics and governance arrangements.
My goal is to lead a council that quietly and competently gets on with the job, building respectful, professional relationships. My priorities are rigorous financial management, good governance, fair planning and care for our environment.
Having lived here for 12 years, I am committed to Nedlands. My children attended Nedlands Primary School and now Shenton College. I've been a secretary of NPS P&C and Apace and am a member of Nedlands Tree Canopy Advocates, Sunset Heritage Committee and Hollywood Subiaco Bowling Club.
