Draft Amended Local Planning Policy 7.3 – Consultation of Planning Proposals

The City of Nedlands is seeking comment on draft Amended Local Planning Policy 7.3 – Consultation of Planning Proposals. This amendment seeks to streamline the City’s consultation processes while also increasing transparency and ensuring consultation is procedurally robust when undertaken. The policy has been significantly reformatted and seeks to align closer to the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. The Policy will be open for public comment until 5pm 23 January 2026.

City Officers will be available on 8 December 2025 & 19 January 2026 from 4pm to 6pm in the Council Chambers at 71 Stirling Highway to answer any questions. Please note that there is no presentation at this session. It is an after-hours opportunity to speak with a City Officer about the proposal and you do not have to attend the entire time. Due to limited space, it is important that you please RSVP via the Amended LPP7.3 – Consultation of Planning Proposals Your Voice page if you wish to attend.
