Important Notice: Changes to Rates Payment Options

Please note that the City of Nedlands will no longer provide the option for ratepayers to pay their rates via cash or cheque payments at Australia Post moving forward.

This change is part of our ongoing efforts to reduce costs. Ratepayers who have previously used the Australia Post option are encouraged to use one of the following alternative payment methods:

  • Online via BPAY – Use your bank’s online banking platform.
  • Credit or Debit Card – Pay securely online through our website.
  • By mail – Pay via cheque using the re-useable envelope provided with your rates notice.
  • In Person – Visit our Administration Centre at 71 Stirling Highway, Nedlands, for cash, cheque or card payments – weekdays 8.30am-4pm.

All ratepayers can expect to receive their rates notice for FY25/26 before the end of September 2025.
