The annual Summer Concerts in the Park are back for 2022, bringing fun, laughter and great music to the City of Nedlands - from 5.30pm-7pm every Sunday in February.
Presented by the City of Nedlands, the Summer Concerts in the Park series is now in its 24th year, providing popular, free, outdoor gigs with a family-friendly atmosphere for the community. Bring the family and pack a picnic or check out the food trucks that will be cooking up a delicious snack or meal. This is the best, free fun you’ll have all summer.
For the first concert of the season, Councillor Olinka Combes will be on hand to get the party started at 5.30pm on Sunday 6 February at Lawler Park, Draper Street, Floreat and to introduce one of the best party bands in WA today.
‘These Galahs’ might seem an unusual name for three exceptionally talented musicians who make such sweet music, but you will be pleasantly surprised.
Matt, on vocals and guitar, has been performing solo for five years and enjoys paring back classic tunes to reveal fun acoustic numbers. Add Josh’s smooth bass lines and Tyron’s elite rhythm and you have the kind of trio you want to go out of your way to see and hear.
This band of good looking ‘galahs’ has the repertoire and presentation to suit everyone who appreciates great music.

In line with the WA State Government’s Covid-19 requirements all attendees 16+ must provide proof of vaccination or acceptable medical exemption in order to attend the event.
